Addition to the above point, as per RBI's guidelines, bank institution like yours need to have a larger part of standard credit dedicated to Priority Sector Lending. As commercial banks are more inclined towards other sectors mentioned in PSL list than that off of microfinancing. It causes undue competition and low irrecoverable rates in those sectors.

Our Team

Vinod Mahajan (67 YRS)

A banking veteran with more than four decades of experience in Indian banking industry across various profiles like agriculture finance, Rural banking, Branch head, Audit and Compliance and training with working in different parts of India.

With over a decade focused on microfinance, he played instrumental role in establishment and development of Audit vertical pan India in Ujjivan Small Finance Bank as Chief of Audit. He always emphasized on importance of a strong audit team for a robust compliance mechanism. He is a Graduate in Agriculture and MBA in Banking and finance and Certified Microfinance Professional from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.

Sanjaykumar Gugawad (47 YRS)

22 Years of experience in pioneering success with Technical & Managerial expertise for global & domestic organizations. As an M. Sc. In Agri and special post-graduate diploma in Agri Marketing from Pondicherry University. He started his banking career with ICICI Bank to develop Rural channel and products for co-op banks.

As AVP in National Bulk Handling Corporation Ltd, he was handling entire operation and business of Maharashtra State. His expertise and special management skills helped grow the business in multifold. In his last assignment as a Director in Standard Chartered Bank, he played major role in developing Commercial Banking in Medium Enterprise-Agri. Finance.

Himanshu Mittal (39 YRS)

When start-up concept was less known he joined start-up IT firm in 2005 as Business Development Executive. He played different roles as Marketing Campaign Lead, Research Analyst, Resource Consultant and Sales Head successfully. He joined Ujjivan Financial Services in 2009 and started his journey in Microfinance segment. He progressed through his 9 years of career and handled largest district in region, with all-time best performances.

His work profile includes Risk Assessment, Area Survey and Business Process Enhancement, which are key elements for establishment of new branch. He was also a part of national business intelligence team and also played role as company representative at MFIN. In his last assignment he was heading function of the Region.

Sandip Pote (38 YRS)

He holds of 18 years of total professional experience in Sales & Marketing, Logistics & Supply Chain, with renowned companies in respective industries, like Vayudoot Logistics Pvt Ltd, Sai Service Pvt Ltd, Excell Autovista Pvt Ltd.

He is a Master of Arts in History from Pune University, who has a strong affinity towards empowering of Rural Livelihood and very well impressed by functioning of Co-Operative sector. He has always considered people connect as great asset for any individual, and by putting it at its first place. He is considered to have great supporting channel to get any assignment done in its best interest.

Hrishikesh Lade (28 YRS)

After completion of MBA in Marketing, he is pursuing Ph.D. in Microfinance to follow his passion in this sector. He is now fully committed to contribute his future in Indian Economic Development by uplifting the bottom of the pyramid segment. He has decided to dedicate his efforts in Financial Inclusion of India, which has made him to pursue the Ph.D. in this subject. His continuous research and study are aimed to bring better accessibility of financial services for unserved and underserved segment.
